The building can be broken down into two parts with a rectangular central part and wings on either side. The central part is subdivided into three parts, with a transformation zone in its middle higher allowing to receive the various machines. The building is oriented North-South in order to avoid the sunlight of the walls as much as possible and the double roof allows a natural evacuation of the heat. Due to the large roof surfaces and the enormous amount of rainwater that can flow around the building, it was necessary to design a system of channels and overflows to evacuate the water to the nearest gutters.
