It is a maternity hospital with an operating room, hospitalizations, labor room, delivery room and a nursing station with toilet blocks. This maternity ward was built at the Sabou hospital with a corridor all around the building to protect the walls from sunlight. The exterior walls are double-walled with cut stones on the inside and cinder block masonry on the outside with a void between the two walls. This allows to keep a constant temperature of the rooms.
